Internship and Volunteer Opportunities In Bolivia Gravity Assisted Mountain Biking (A service of America Tours SRL)
Invitation to travelers, adventurers, and students of tourism from around the world ... come and enjoy the adventures and challenges of Bolivia, apply your experiences or studies in an exciting environment full of opportunity.
Gravity is pleased to be able to offer a variety of modestly paid intern/volunteer positions in a wide range of different tourism ventures to motivated individuals who can afford to pay their own airfares over here, are willing to get by on little-to-no-money, and are excited by the idea of applying their skills in a completely different environment.
Gravity has volunteer and internship positions available in Bolivia in the following areas:
- Travel Agency - front office face-to-face sales in a dynamic and energetic environment (read as: completely and utterly crazy full-on, at times), predominantly with European and Antipodean backpackers.
- Hostel/Small Hotel - the small (39 beds), funky hostel we are partners in has its own brewery, its own BBQ on the rooftop terrace, a constant flow of backpackers, and a desperate need for several energetic, proactive, young, hip individuals to help whip it into shape and make sure the fun times keep rolling on (and that we can one day make a profit on this gig!).
- Adventure Tourism - our world-famous adventure tourism operation
is always looking for keen motivated individuals
with a love of mountain biking and absolutely no desire to earn lots of
money to work with us in our world-domination plans. We need people with skills in every area from graphic design, to marketing, to web design, to people with no great skills but plenty of enthusiasm to help out all over the place.
Please contact us by email at info@gravitybolivia.com to learn how little we can afford to pay you, how hard we will work you, how much you can learn out here, and what an awesome experience you'll have.
Cheers,
Alistair "el jefe" Matthew

Finally a hostel in La Paz everyone can and DOES recommend!!
Lonely Planet: South America on a Shoestring (2007) says:
"Adventure Brew Hostel. The name says it all. This brand-new abode on the block offers designer-style rooms, funky communal spaces, pancake breakfasts, as well as fun on tap. Yes there`s an authentic microbrewery on site.". Pg 192. |
