Used Bikes for Sale

Gravity's Quality Used Bicycles. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PAGE HAS LARGELY BEEN SUPERSEDED BY GRAVITY's RECENTLY UPDATED BIKE SHOP WEB PAGES
Please visit this page here to check out all the bikes we have for sale.
After a hard and happy life bombing down hills the Gravity bikes are retired
and made available for sale at reasonable prices. Check back here regularly
as we update monthly the mountain bikes we have available for sale. The selection
includes our fleet/rental bikes and our race bicycles, as well as bikes that
Gravity has mechaniced for friends who ride with us. As such we know these bikes
intimately and are willing to vouch for their condition.
Obviously these bikes are here in La Paz, Bolivia. However if you aren't passing through here then we can arrange for delivery (via a variety of methods) to the US if that is where you live.

Avanti Competitor (NZ brand) with Easton Ultralite tubing. Full Shimano
XT (brakes, derailers, hubs, cassette). Truvativ cranks. Shimano 646
platform pedals. Mavic 223 rim up front, Mavic 317 on the back.
Marzocchi Z1 drop off forks (a little worn, but 5 inches of sweet
travel). Azonic bars and stem and a Fizik saddle. Frame is light enough
for top level cross country racing, but this bike is built strong enough
and light enough to ride anywhere and everywhere. Am selling this bike
as I need the money to buy a fully. This bike has been well looked after
as I have many years experience working as a bike mechanic.

Finally a hostel in La Paz everyone can and DOES recommend!!
Lonely Planet: South America on a Shoestring (2007) says:
"Adventure Brew Hostel. The name says it all. This brand-new abode on the block offers designer-style rooms, funky communal spaces, pancake breakfasts, as well as fun on tap. Yes there`s an authentic microbrewery on site.". Pg 192. |
